Combatskiing is the only way back to the parking lot. The stone skis are brought out again. On the peaks, the snow has lost to the wind. At the tree line, an average amount for this time of year.

Snow quality

It's powder in the couloirs. Otherwise settled and firm spring snow. In the morning, the eastern slopes are already transformed and dull. From midday, the south-facing slopes are slushy.

Risks

There are small wind drifts that are noticeable as powder walls in the overall low snow cover. But these are firmly connected. In flatter areas, none of them could be triggered yesterday. But not today. Generally favorable situation right now. I see stones as the main danger again

Overall impression

Best conditions for sterile activities. Sliding down different couloirs all day again and therefore no interval training on familiar terrain. Makes you feel good and very tired.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
