Down below hui up above Pfui. Above the tree line, the storm has swept everything away. As a base, this is now compact but certainly critical for a new edition.

The loose stuff in the forest has settled slightly. Some people see it as heavy deep snow. I think it shreds really well and is fantastic to ride. In open terrain it's better to use racing skis or skates, because it's hardly snow with a lid, but something much harder.

Risks

Take a look at the photo of the wedge of debris that had been blown up. Yes, the wind has scooped up a lot. But the packages are clearly visible. In the morning you could still see massive snowfall at altitude. It is estimated that a hefty minefield has formed in the north-eastern slopes

This was a real powder day in the sun in the forest. My thighs really got their money's worth, so much so that I preferred to leave one or two pillows at the end of the day.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
