At lower altitudes, there is a lot of snow on the slopes, but not much snow with hardly any base. At higher altitudes, a little has fallen in the last few days, here you can find a few centimeters of fresh snow on a little base next to the piste. Still stone contact.

Further down, the fine powder is rather hard to find, already heavily firned. At the top, you can find top quality powder up to 40 cm deep. In blown-out areas, however, you are more likely to find ice.

Risks

The avalanche risk today was not too high in the forest and in shallow gullies, as there were hardly any fault zones to be found. However, this will change with the coming heavy snowfall. Especially the firn areas and new drift snow on the old packs will lead to weak layers.

He who seeks finds the best powder slopes, the base could be better, but it was still great fun

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
