Snow condition
The snow cover in the region was rather poor until a few days ago. But now it's okay thanks to the fresh snow. In Scharnitz at just under 1000m 30+ cm at the top (approx. 1400) 60cm according to the measuring pole.
Snow quality
The finest powder and lots of it.
Risks
Since we started from Scharnitz and did not go beyond the forest boundary, I refer to the LLB here.
Overall impression
We tried our hand at this typical Saturday afternoon activity and it was a lot of fun.
