Overall impression
Snow condition
Not so little snow in the valley, but unfortunately not much more further up. It is good in the flatter alpine terrain and partly near the tree line. Further up, only on slopes that have been blown in, ridges and crests are heavily blown off, here there is often only a few centimetres of snow. There is also not enough snow in the denser forest and you generally have to expect contact with the ground everywhere.
Snow quality
Still very good powder snow. Some of the steeper south-facing slopes are already a bit crusty, but not too widespread. All other exposures, especially at the tree line and below, are very good and there is already a lot of surface ripeness.
Risks
No alarm signs or fresh avalanches noticed. However, I would still be very careful, but today some things were tracked that I personally would have ruled out, but everything seems to have held... Some medium-sized sliding snow avalanches have come down on the steep grassy slopes.
Overall impression
Great weather, good snow, unfortunately not too much of it...
