So far satisfactory for the time of year. Many a mountain pine belt is still resisting an ascent. In the stony cirques, you can ski down without any problems - where it is reasonably sheltered from the wind. But I wouldn't bother with the Alpspitze, you can carry your skis back down there.

As the avalanche report says, alternating wind slush and powder. The transitions can also come as a surprise. On wind-protected north-facing slopes that have not yet been plowed up, powder can even be found from ~1400.

Risks

A certain wind influence cannot be denied. The avalanche report was very accurate, especially at higher altitudes.

Very good day in the Werdenfels Alps! There's definitely still something to be gained, even though it was so warm last week. In the long term, shady tours that lead up high will have to do. Unfortunately, the options on this side of the border are limited.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
