In the forest, the ascent is still possible, but already very "dirty". From about 1600m, there are a few centimetres of snow on top after the rain.
Snow quality
Overall, the snow quality was better than expected. It froze over during the night so that the soaked snow was not dull. A few centimetres of fresh snow on a load-bearing crust further up.
Risks
The ascent and descent were mainly on pistes. Snowdrifts at the edge of the slopes are evidence of the storm of the last few days. The summit was almost blown off except for frozen remnants of old snow, but again covered with approx. 5-10 cm of fresh snow.
Overall impression
At least from 1500/1600m the feeling of winter. Also quite nice to ski at the top. A bit of powder on a firm base. Some of the slopes were groomed, but not everywhere. From midday, snow started to fall, which turned into rain towards the valley below about 1400m. The descent was also better than expected because the snow was soft in the afternoon. So it was a soft mogul slope at the bottom.
