Snow condition
There is simply hardly any snow. Although there was a lot of precipitation at the weekend, most of it fell as rain up to around 2000m. It's not enough, especially at lower altitudes, some skis have to be carried, and even higher up only the cirques and gullies are reasonably full.
Snow quality
Really bad. The rain had soaked the snow cover, it wasn't really frozen, so there was often broken snow. At around 2200m there were a couple of turns in firn-like snow, but in general it was really bad.
Risks
Unfavorable, even if not mega-crass. You have to watch out not only for the old snow, but also for the soaked snow cover.
Overall impression
Sad, especially when you realize that a good part of the winter is already over without ever having taken place.
