Snow condition
You don't need to say much. It will probably remain a material-friendly winter. One or two south-facing slopes at lower altitudes have been affected by sliding snow avalanches. Nevertheless, there are plenty of alternatives on the ascent.
Snow quality
Near the lift (last snowfall too long ago) only vegetables. Where there was sunshine, it's no great pleasure even at higher altitudes: difficult, sometimes damp/frozen. All in all, exhausting and not particularly rewarding. The northern slopes with a "small" ascent are very rewarding. Fluffy and nice to ski, the 300 m with skins are definitely worth it!
Risks
Note the increase during the day. The sun develops enormous power. Some sliding snow avalanches have occurred on the southern slopes at lower altitudes. Everything looks clean on the north-facing slopes. No observations. Been out and about in 40 degree terrain with a clear conscience!
Overall impression
The lift can at best be used as a feeder for variants with ascent. There is no real fun to be had next to the slopes. What is worthwhile: all north-facing slopes with small or large ascents. From Eibsee along the lift up to the north face. Descent towards Gatterl. For those interested in the new world: There are a few ascent tracks in there, it is advisable to start soon due to the sunlight in the lower area!
