Above 1,800 still good snow conditions, below that it gets thin and you have to carry in the forest. Descent into the valley only just possible via pistes.

There were a few slushy turns on sunny slopes, otherwise everywhere was rock-hard or broken snow. Melt/rain crust from the warming up to the very top.

There wasn't much in the way of snow around the Alpspitze - apart from a few slushy turns, hard or broken snow. Nevertheless, it was a great day.
