Frühling bei sommerlichen Temperaturen

Snow condition
The ascent on the artificial snow slope goes well. However, the snow is very hard. If you look for flat spots and don't cross steep sections, you can do it without crampons.
Snow quality
The slopes are icy, further up it's windswept and harsh. But if you ski down late enough, it firns up nicely. It's then quite pleasant to ride.
Risks
Apart from the daytime heating on sunny slopes, the avalanche risk seemed low to me. Everything was well frozen in the morning.
Overall impression
As there are no small alternatives, it's still better than sitting at home in this weather. You have to look for interesting activities above 2000m and that involves a correspondingly long ascent. Below that, only the "easy" things remain. So stay fit in case better times come again.
The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.
Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
