ST Tagweidkopf Fernpassrinne - not groomed and quite rugged

Overall impression
Snow condition
Enough snow in the forest, but already a bit thin in some places. After that, absolutely no problems.
Snow quality
Top frozen through, with the grip of the pole there was usually no getting through. Unfortunately, it stayed like this all day due to the clouds, which were not forecast... In addition, there were probably some quite late ascents and descents in the last few days, resulting in deep tracks in the gully, which were rideable, sometimes better, sometimes worse, but never really good. The old tracks in particular were really hard to ride. We didn't ski the gully at the top (it was much worse than it looks in the only picture I have), but skied the slope right next to it because the gully looked so bad at the top.
Risks
At the moment I would rate it as very uncritical. But it's interesting how much is lying around: the gully to the Tagweidkopf, for example, has gone down as a slab and otherwise some wet snow avalanches have started below rocks, especially in the south-eastern exposure.
Overall impression
Very nice tour and dream sunrise :-) Just not very rewarding from a skiing point of view. The next few days we recommend tours with wider slopes, then you can avoid the deep old tracks better.
