Snow condition
Surprisingly good between 1500 and 1800m - more like 3 stars. Above that, extremely variable due to massive wind influence. However, stone contact should no longer be an issue.
Snow quality
In the lower part 15-20cm of super powder. At the top, unfortunately, there was a very clear wind cover almost everywhere, which was very challenging to ski with the diffuse visibility. Still three stars due to the really good lower part.....
Risks
Hardly any fresh drifts on the chosen route (very sheltered from the wind). The warming was also limited - no significant destabilization.
Overall impression
The weather was as good as we had hoped. The numerous ski tourers who met us at 2pm on the Ziehweg at the start of the tour (we came back) were bizarre. Great timing to start at this time, especially when a front was approaching......
