We set off from the Kreuzeck parking lot on a good artificial snow slope. Above approx. 1300m there has been another 5-10cm of fresh snow overnight.

The fresh snow is not super fluffy, but at least it makes the ascent possible without crampons and the descent is also quite pleasant.
Risks
A 1 was set for today below 2000m. I didn't go any higher than that anyway and due to poor visibility, I couldn't see what it looked like higher up.
Overall impression
A nice training round. Whiteout at the top, unfortunately. I had a lot of trouble finding my destination and the descent was only moderately enjoyable because the orientation was so difficult. From Kreuzeckhaus I even had to make my own tracks, which surprised me a lot because I was out late and this winter everything can be done at any time of day or night. Presumably most people had already made the most of the sunny and snowy WE and didn't have to go out in bad weather today. I practised abstinence over the weekend because I wanted to avoid the traffic jams and parking problems.
