Overall impression
Snow condition
Channels very well filled. It doesn't look so good on exposed flanks (note the influence of the wind). Not exceptionally much snow for the Mieminger, but in the upper range of the last 10 years.
Snow quality
From 2000m sector north 5 stars. In our gully about 15cm of very light snow. Substructure just thick enough to be able to ascend on foot. Perfect on the descent - snow like in Alaska (sluff management was also necessary and slowed down the flow a bit).
Risks
Level 1 (North Tyrol) was issued. No instabilities detectable. Low risk of rockfall and cornice breakage due to the cold temperatures.
Overall impression
Rarely have I experienced such good conditions in the Miemingers. It couldn't be better for the chosen line. Ascent not too much rummaging and great turns on the descent at up to 48°.
