Snow condition
Passable snow conditions throughout the tour. On the last few meters in the forest it got tight. Carrying passage but no longer than 10 minutes.
Snow quality
The base was hard, with around 10 cm of new snow on top, which was also nice to ride. At lower altitudes above the tree line, the load-bearing top was missing, so the fun here was limited.
Risks
Fresh snow has already arrived with the wind, but the amount was limited and the snow was quite visible. Watch out for daytime warming.
Overall impression
Super tour, outstanding scenery, snow was also nice. There were a lot of people on the Grünstein normal tour. From Coburger Hütte to Schwärz Scharte very little activity.
