Snow condition
Quite a lot of rock contact on the ascent via the ferrata. I've had more comfortable experiences. Still plenty of snow on the descent and lots of space between the rocks even in the bottleneck.
Snow quality
Good powder snow or rocks on the ascent. Firn on the descent. Although it was of course a bit rough from the last few days, it was easy to ski.
Risks
Overnight, it was freezing again. Good snow on the north side, partly powdery. On the eastern flank around 12 o'clock, nice firn, but not yet wet. All in all, safe conditions.
Overall impression
Beautiful ski tour in great weather at the end of the lift season in GAP. Unfortunately. The snow conditions would make more great touring days possible. Without lift support, however, only for those in good shape...
The north face of the Alpspitze was also climbed. The snow looked good. I would also have liked to climb it.
