There was still enough snow, we could have easily started in the valley at the Ehrwalderalmbahn. We also had no contact with rocks during the entire ascent or descent.

Snow quality

2 von 5 Sterne

I would award 2 stars, although I would award a 3rd star in the upper part as the snow was great for skiing. Good slush in the upper part, from 1800m it became quite heavy and soaked. We didn't make the time slot for a firn descent as we weren't on the mountain until 13:30.

Risks

Relatively relaxed, the LLB issued a 1 for this morning, which rose to a 2 in the afternoon as the day warmed up. We couldn't see any releases today, and there were no old snow slides/avalanche clusters to be seen on the entire slope. The snow cover made a compact impression.

With fantastic weather and 14 degrees in the sun, we were able to go up in our T-shirts - it's already April ;-).
All alone on tour, what more could you want!

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
