Exposition
Snow condition
Decent for the time of year. The piste is still good and should be able to serve as an access route to the rewarding touring area for a while yet.
Snow quality
It didn't freeze through tonight, but it was difficult to ski next to the piste. Slopes above 1400 meters pretty good, below that you sometimes broke through the upper, somewhat hard layer and had to be careful.
Risks
Wind intensity: High (40 – 60 km/h)
Some wet snow is already down, but I wouldn't say it's all there yet. In the north face of the Igelskopf you can see the edge of a crack on the western side.
Overall impression
Today, for once, the piste was probably the most rewarding. Yesterday evening it was still raining a bit, I imagine it will be difficult to get to an altitude where the snow is ok with a reasonable avalanche risk. Saturday to Sunday and hopefully Sunday to Monday it should freeze again at night according to the current forecast. Then there could be great firn conditions. If possible, you should find out in advance to what extent old wet snow avalanches could affect the planned tour. In general, there is still a good basis for the predicted north jam for this time of year.
