The snow conditions are still ok for the time of year, but it's slowly getting less. We had to carry our skis up to about 1400m, nothing below that. From there upwards, however, the snow conditions are still decent to good.

We skied down late in the morning and had almost perfect firn! It's not powder, but it was hardly any worse for skiing down. Really good! Below about 1800m it was pretty slushy (but this was more due to the exposure than the altitude).

Risks

LWD Tirol reported level one in the morning, which we can confirm. The snow cover is well set and connected and was largely frozen through again thanks to the clear night. However, it was quite warm, so the motto was to be back down early.

Super day! Thanks to the fantastic weather and the perfect firn descent, we get four stars. The fact that you have to get up very early at the end of April and carry a bit is something you're happy to accept ;)

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
