I unbuckled once on the way up and four times on the way down. In the backcountry there is only really snow from about 1500m upwards and even then it's north-facing and not too dense forest. For the time of year and the altitude, I would still definitely give it three stars.

Firn
Jelly snow

Above approx. 1400m braking, wet snow on a fairly hard surface. Rideable but no pleasure. Below 1400m firnartog, relatively fast & even :-)

Risks

Diurnal warming
Much water in the snow cover
South

Wind intensity: Medium (20 – 40 km/h)

The one or other wet snow slide can be seen in the surrounding steep grass flanks.

Equal

Nice (probably the last at this altitude) turns :-) Now the weather will be mixed again and then very warm quite quickly. Let's see when there's something to get again, there's still enough snow at higher altitudes.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
