Snow condition
Below 1500m only artificial snow (lumps of ice) with minimal fresh snow. From 1500m relatively much fresh snow without base (but no rock contact) from 2000m already about 1m snow cover.
Snow quality
At lower elevations, a solid layer of hard snow with powder on top in the morning and in the afternoon everything softens except for the artificial snow ice. At higher altitudes, thick layer of fresh snow, nice powder in the morning, nice softened snow in the afternoon.
Risks
Because there is generally little snow, it is not dangerous, but on the south side in steep areas there are wet snow slides, which should be taken seriously.
Overall impression
It's definitely worth it for the start of the season, especially as there are still hardly any people out and about. Not bad in terms of snow in any case
