There was 50 cm of fresh snow on the Zugspitze overnight. I'm sure there's been quite a bit in the last few days too. But I wasn't up there because of the wind.

The fresh snow today was loose, fluffy, with no wind at all. It couldn't have been better. :-)

A powder day with one star deducted due to poor visibility and wind. Very rarely there was better visibility for a few seconds, but then the next gust of wind usually came right away and with a lot of snowflurry again zero visibility. The snow would actually have been perfect. Only with the wind it felt very, very cold. Sorry, that's why no photos.
