I finally had to get the touring skis under my feet. If you don't want to go any further by car, the only option in this area is a piste tour.
There was even enough snow for the ascent via Tonihütte. I skied down the valley run, which had just been completed and was still closed today. The slope is as icy as if it were a World Cup downhill run. It doesn't seem possible to prepare it any better. But I can't imagine how ski tourists will be able to get down there safely any time soon. The nearby accident clinic will definitely have its work cut out for it...
