Descent to valley (to 1100 m)

Not lush but currently sufficient. Before it gets steep at the top you have to search a bit between the scree and from the forest it is very thin. But we only carried it for 5 minutes and I walked the exit from the gully on foot as it was already very narrow and otherwise we could ride everything :-)

Snow quality

Wet snow
Firn

Super firn up to the forest towards Ehrwalder Alm. Already a few old tracks in it, but really good to ski. Then a mixture of hard snow and wet snow. Started the descent shortly after 11.

Risks

East

Wind intensity: Medium (20 – 40 km/h)

Very relaxed avalanche situation. The descent from the summit to the Zugspitzblatt was the most sporty, as everything was still very hard there.

Overall impression

4 von 5 Sterne
Equal

Dream conditions for a dream tour :-) Apparently it's problematic to find the abseiling point from time to time - currently very easy.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
