Master advanced freeride techniques to creatively explore a wide variety of terrain. The aim is to explore your own limits without losing sight of safety.
Equipment
Ski pass
Snowboard, snowboard boots
Suitable clothing in which you can spend a day on the mountain (expect sub-zero temperatures): Jacket, trousers, midlayer & functional underwear
Helmet
Backpack* including: avalanche probe
Avalanche transceiver (LVS)
Avalanche shovel (metal)*Avalanche airbag backpacks are recommended but not essential
Skill level
This course is aimed at experienced freeride snowboarders who want to further develop their skills. Participants should have extensive freeride experience and knowledge as well as a safe technique in steep terrain over 40 degrees.
