Learning objectives
Introduction to touring techniques, use of equipment, and safe behaviour.
The participants learn basic knowledge for their first touring experiences.

*Avalanche airbag backpacks are recommended but not mandatory
Skill level
This course is aimed at participants who are undertaking a ski tour for the first or second time.
Participants should be able to ascend with touring skis on skins for around two hours (600 vertical metres).
The descents require safe and controlled skiing in unprepared terrain in different snow conditions. Experience in unprepared terrain is an advantage.
