Immerse yourself in a weekend of deep-snow adventures and top-level expertise: the Hochfügen FreerideTestival is one of the leading freeride events in the Alps, offering two action-packed days far from the groomed slopes. Hochfügen is known for its snow reliability and untouched terrain between 1,500 and 2,500 metres — where fresh powder can still be found even days after the last snowfall.

What to Expect

The unique combination of equipment testing, workshops, courses, and a vibrant community atmosphere makes the FreerideTestival a one-of-a-kind event series. Immerse yourself in the freeride scene, test the latest gear for the upcoming season, and take home valuable insights and unforgettable memories.

Throughout all event weekends, equipment from leading brands — including skis, snowboards, helmets, goggles, backpacks, and avalanche safety gear — will be available for you to test, completely free of charge and without obligation. The highlight: most of the products come from the next season’s lineup and are therefore brand new.

In addition to gear testing, you can look forward to a variety of side events such as technical workshops, courses, and safety trainings designed to help you improve your freeriding skills. Experienced riders can explore new terrain together with local guides, while beginners take their first turns off-piste under professional instruction. After an action-packed day, the Afterhour invites you to relax and unwind. Enjoy the laid-back atmosphere with music, drinks, and like-minded people, share your experiences with tested gear, and chat with professional athletes about the day’s highlights.

• Testival visit: free of charge

• Courses and workshops: €59-€109 (depending on choice, excluding lift pass)

• Rock n' Snow all-round package (€299)
