The third tour stop of the FreerideTestival 2026 - Europe's biggest test event for freeriders - will take place in Vorarlberg Warth Schröcken from 7 to 8 March 2026. Powder lovers, technology fans and adventurers will meet here to try out the latest equipment in open terrain, share experiences and ride the most beautiful lines together.

Description

Warth-Schröcken isn’t called the snow hole of the Alps for nothing: countless north-facing slopes, outstanding snow quality, and reliable conditions lasting well into spring make this area a true freeride hotspot. Thanks to its connection with Lech Zürs via the Auenfeldjet and the new Flexenbahn, Ski Arlberg is now Austria’s largest interconnected ski area — offering limitless freeride adventures at the highest level.

Please note: The road between Lech and Warth is closed during winter. However, the event site is easily accessible from Lech by lift via the Auenfeldjet and Sonnenjet.

What you can expect

The unique combination of equipment testing, workshops, courses, and a vibrant community atmosphere makes the FreerideTestival a one-of-a-kind event series. Immerse yourself in the freeride scene, test the latest gear for the upcoming season, and take home valuable insights and unforgettable memories.

Throughout all event weekends, equipment from leading brands — including skis, snowboards, helmets, goggles, backpacks, and avalanche safety gear — will be available for you to test, completely free of charge and without obligation. The highlight: most of the products come from the next season’s lineup and are therefore brand new.

In addition to the gear reviews, you can also look forward to exciting course offers from the Warth ski school. Complete your Testival weekend with a Freeride Crash Course (Beginners) or the Arlberg Freeride Safari (Advanced Skiers), where you can improve your freeride skills. Experienced freeriders explore new terrain along the legendary Arlberg ski circuit together with local guides, while beginners take their first turns off-piste under professional guidance.
