risk 'n' fun Freeride Session Kühtai I (Level 1)
Take your freeriding skills to a new level!
perceive - judge - decide
Level 1 is aimed at all those who want to intensify their knowledge of freeriding and gain important experience in a safe environment through training situations. With the support of the guides, you will learn to recognise and assess situations and make your own decisions about which line is the safest, most beautiful and snowiest option.
Short ascents, short hikes and lots of practical exercises take centre stage. Together with state-certified mountain, ski and snowboard guides, you will learn how to use emergency equipment safely, understand the avalanche report and take note of important points for a safe descent. The risk'n'fun instructors accompany the soft skills part: How do you deal with risk? How does the group influence your own behaviour?
The aim of the session is for you to be able to judge for yourself at the end which downhill variants suit the current conditions, your group and your ability.

Session Kühtai I - details
"Kühtai, a 40-minute drive west of Innsbruck, is the highest winter sports resort in Austria. From December until well into spring, you will find a huge selection of variants and at the same time the best starting point for tours to the surrounding peaks such as the Pirchkogel, Sulzkogel or Schafzoll. Ideal for a risk'n'fun session, as is the accommodation in the Dortmunder Hütte. Hut flair, chequered bed linen and cosy rooms right next to the lift station guarantee maximum freeride times on the mountain."
