risk 'n' fun Freeride Session Tauplitz II (Level 1)

Take your freeriding skills to a new level!

Date

Location

Hollhaus
Haus-Nr. 1
8982 Tauplitzalm
In the risk'n'fun Level 1 session, you will learn to make your own decisions in open terrain. With expertise from experienced guides, like-minded freeriders and hopefully fresh powder!

perceive - judge - decide

Level 1 is aimed at all those who want to intensify their knowledge of freeriding and gain important experience in a safe environment through training situations. With the support of the guides, you will learn to recognise and assess situations and make your own decisions about which line is the safest, most beautiful and snowiest option.

Short ascents, short hikes and lots of practical exercises take centre stage. Together with state-certified mountain, ski and snowboard guides, you will learn how to use emergency equipment safely, understand the avalanche report and take note of important points for a safe descent. The risk'n'fun instructors accompany the soft skills part: How do you deal with risk? How does the group influence your own behaviour?

The aim of the session is for you to be able to judge for yourself at the end which downhill variants suit the current conditions, your group and your ability.

Session Tauplitz II - details

"The Tauplitz has been a risk'n'fun classic for years with plenty of opportunities for racy descents, shorter and longer hikes and (usually) endless snow. The accommodation on the car-free Tauplitzalm is located in the centre of the area in the Hollhaus. A positive side effect of this is being able to spend as much time as possible on the mountain😉. And yes, there's also a positive side effect: when it really pushes in from the north, you can expect massive snow depths on the Tauplitz. In short: days on the Tauplitz are always a highlight."
