risk'n'fun LOCALS Hochkönig

A freeride day for young people aged 13-16 years

Date

Location

Hochkönig Bergbahnen
Schlöglberg 63
5505 Mühlbach am Hochkönig
The risk'n'fun team is touring five resorts to spend a day with young freeriders in the terrain of their home resort. "Show us where you're going!" is the slogan for the 10-12 and 13-16 year olds who ski and snowboard away from the secured pistes. Topics include assessing slopes, the correct use of emergency equipment and being out and about together in a group.

perceive - assess - decide

The mountain/snowboard guides and trainers from the Alpine Club Academy will be out and about with you for a whole day and take a close look at your runs. Because the supposed "familiarity" of the home resort and being out and about in a group can prove to be deceptive.

About risk ́n ́fun FREERIDE

risk ́n ́fun, the training program of the Alpine Club Youth, has been accompanying young freeriders for over 20 years on their way from powder runs in terrain close to the piste to high alpine undertakings. "Perceive-assess-decide" is the guiding principle in terms of content to give snowboarders and skiers the necessary skills and technical expertise to make good decisions in the terrain. There are 50 dates per winter, from 1-day drop-in to 5-day training sessions to Alpine Professional Level 4.

The risk'n'fun LOCALS day is an irresistible "must" for young shredders who want to experience their winter with a good feeling and knowledge.
