The splitboard camp in the Lötschental (Valais, Switzerland) offers the ideal introduction to the world of touring snowboarding - including test equipment, avalanche awareness and professional route selection.
Both beginners and experienced splitboarders benefit from coaching and the wide range of touring options in the snow-sure valley.
Who is the camp suitable for?
Suitable for snowboarders who are confident off-piste skiers and in good physical condition
Free skiers welcome (touring skis possible)
No previous touring experience necessary
Insurance is the responsibility of the participants (cancellation insurance recommended)

Base camp: Hotel Petersgrat in Kippel - with fine cuisine and space to adjust equipment
Background
Freeride pro Ueli Kestenholz discovered the touring potential of the Swiss Alps after worldwide big mountain adventures (Alaska to Japan). Together with mountain guide David Henzen, the first splitboard camp was created in 2016, which has since combined gear reviews, avalanche safety and touring experiences.
