Michael Larcher, head of the mountain sports department at the ÖAV and mountain guide, gives a competent and charming introduction to avalanche danger and avalanche safety, explains the entire rescue chain and presents a customer of safety equipment and companion rescue. The Austrian Avalanche Warning Service headed by Rudi Mair and Patrick Nairz has firmly established the hazard patterns in its work and avalanche situation reports and these will certainly be used again this year in the case studies. You can look forward to a very expert refresher on avalanche awareness and certainly an entertaining evening.
