Arc'teryx - Incendia women's collection

The Canadians wanted to show more style with consistently high performance and created the small Incendia line. Specially developed by women for women. The result is an extremely attractive one-piece and a jacket/bib combo. The one-piece is said to weigh just under 900g and is designed with long thigh vents, which should also make it possible to go to the toilet without having to take them off. This also applies to the dungarees. The items are equipped with the GORE-TEX 3L material NP100d and therefore meet the highest quality standards. We do our best to put the products to the test for you.

Evoc - LINE R.A.S. Protector 32/22L

The backpack specialists from Evoc leave nothing to be desired when it comes to functionality. Since last season, there has been a cooperation with Mammut to equip the tried-and-tested LINE Protector backpack with an R.A.S. airbag. This backpack - with a volume of 22 or 32L - will be revised for next winter and thus also offers all the safety freeriders want to rely on in the mountains. In addition to the well-known good carrying comfort (body hugging), the LINE R.A.S. offers all the functionalities that have made its little brother without an airbag so indispensable. We will soon receive the first models for a detailed test!

Black Diamond - Helio Carbon 104

For over 30 years, the North Americans from Black Diamond have been making skis by freeriders for freeriders. The Helio Carbon 104 has now been added to the range for all-day, sometimes slightly longer one-day tours. With its prepreg carbon fiber construction and the all-round ABS sidewall in combination with the Paulownia wood core, it ensures balanced handling in variable snow conditions. The BD-known, upturned shovel allows you to enjoy the buoyancy to the full during deep snow descents. We will endeavor to publish a test report for you as soon as possible.

Scott Sports - Insuloft Superlight PL Insulation Jacket

For years, Scott Sports has been expanding its range of hard and textile goods to provide all equipment components from nose to toe. They now offer everything from merino baselayers to all kinds of ski, shoe and safety materials. They received an Ispo award for a midlayer. The Insuloft Superlight PL jacket is truly lightweight and packs down small. With significantly less Primoloft Gold filling, less material provides the same thermal performance as more material in other jackets. The jacket consists of 25% recycled material and the surface material bears the Bluesign seal. Despite this and without the use of fluorinated carbon compounds, the jacket is water-repellent.

G3 - ZED bindings

The Canadians from GenuineGuideGear are following up this winter's ZED 12 with the ZED 9 touring binding. Specially designed for lighter touring skiers, the binding can be set with a Z-value of 3-9 - its big brother allows a Z-value of 5-12. The settings (ski mode on the toe piece, switching from ski to touring mode) are easier to make and without stoppers it is another 13 grams lighter than the ZED 12 (358 grams, both without stoppers). Both can be used with stoppers or only with a safety strap. We will take a closer look at the ZED 12 for you!

Dynafit - Superlight 150

Most binding manufacturers are currently concentrating on downhill-oriented bindings. Dynafit's development team, on the other hand, has presented a new milestone for next winter with the Superlight 150. Milled from a single piece of aluminum, the binding weighs an incredible 150g (without stoppers). And yet Z-values from 4 to 13 can be set. The binding can be used with or without a stopper and its weight and adjustment value will not only be of interest to ascent-oriented ski tourers.

Mammut - Speed loCk aretierungssystem

Mammut now offers a wide range of products on the safety market and a few small and fine further developments will also be implemented for the next season. Above all, the new Speed Lock locking system for all probes should lead to even more effective and trouble-free operation. The current systems are sometimes a little tricky to operate, especially when wearing gloves. This is exactly where a few seconds can be saved when searching for an avalanche victim. The avalanche shovels have also been revised and thanks to robust aluminum and different sizes (both shovel blade and shaft length) there is a suitable model for the pro as well as for the beginner.

Marker - Duke PT16 or 12

As already mentioned in the PG-ISPO News | Skitourenschuhe- & bindings, the Marker Duke PT is one of the real novelties for next winter. You ski down with a fully-fledged alpine binding. On the ascent, the toe piece is folded forward and removed. This saves weight on the foot and makes it possible to ascend with pins. Overall, it makes a very solid impression and we are looking forward to the first test runs!
