The alpine fair (Alpinmesse)with the alpine forum (Alpinforum), Europe's leading mountain sports trade fair and conference, will take place in Innsbruck from November 22nd to 23rd, 2025. This annual event brings together experts, mountain sports enthusiasts, major organizations and brand manufacturers. Two days full of mountain sports and PowderGuide will also be there.

A weekend dedicated to the mountains

The Alpinmesse is one of the most important meeting places for the European mountain and outdoor scene. Visitors can expect a varied program: the latest equipment, inspiring brands and exciting discussions with professionals from all areas of mountain sports - from alpinism and freeriding to sustainable tourism. Here is the list of exhibitors.

The Alpine Forum - knowledge, exchange and safety

Parallel to the trade fair, the Alpinforum offers an extensive lecture and discussion program. Experts will talk about current developments in mountain sports, safety aspects and social issues. This year's Alpine Forum program deals with the question "Mountaineering, only healthy?". Four different thematic blocks will be offered. As an introduction, the topics of tourism and sport & ethics will be dealt with. This will be followed by a psychological perspective on mountaineering. In the afternoon, two further thematic blocks will follow: The first will deal with the dangers of mountain hiking, followed by specific winter dangers. The mixture of specialist knowledge, exchange of experience and passion makes the forum one of the highlights of the weekend.

News & highlights 2025

Alpinmesse Pro - Exclusive trade contacts before the start of the trade fair

For the first time, Alpinmesse 2025 is offering an exclusive opportunity for targeted trade talks before the official start of the trade fair with Alpinmesse Pro. Exhibitors, sports retailers and rental companies meet in a relaxed atmosphere to exchange ideas, network and initiate new collaborations - without any additional organizational effort.

Whether exclusive product presentations, prototype showcases or simply a stimulating conversation over coffee - Alpinmesse Pro creates a flexible framework that participants can design individually. An ideal format for presenting innovations directly where mountain sports meet specialist expertise.

Premiere: The Biathlon Arena

Another highlight is the new Biathlon Arena from SKI365 - biathlon action in the middle of the exhibition hall, without any snow. On a special nano-sliding surface that simulates the real feeling of skiing, visitors can take to the track themselves, aim a laser rifle and test their accuracy.

The track will be inaugurated by Olympic champion Vincent Defrasne (Turin 2006), who will set a time that will then have to be beaten. Movement, technique and competitive spirit merge here to create an action-packed experience - there is also a separate area for children to try out in a playful way.

Alpine Heroes - Inspiration und Passion

This year, there is also the opportunity to get to know the alpine heroes (Alpinheld:innen): personalities who shape mountain sports with their passion and achievements. Their stories and experiences are inspiring - and show what courage, endurance and love of the mountains mean to them.

Workshops - practical and interactive

A wide range of workshop program: Whether avalanche transceiver training for backcountry tours, tour planning with app and map, alpine touring techniques, trail running tips or equipment care - here you can deepen your knowledge and test your skills directly on site. All workshops can be booked in the online ticket store. The workshops cost €5, but the amount will be refunded in the form of a food or drink voucher.
