From March 23 to 25, 2012, the third BigLePowSki Freeski Happening of the 2012 season will take place and for the first time, the Dude will make a guest appearance in the Mecca of steep face skiers, Chamonix! Once again, a series of workshops, testing opportunities and of course the legendary Dude Party await all participants. The BigLePowSki event series is presented by Black Diamond, Arc?teryx, Diamir Fritschi, FreerideMap, Polartec and Pieps.

If you've always wanted to go freeriding and steep wall skiing in Chamonix (France), you now have every reason to do so: The legendary BigLePowSki event is pitching its tents in the steep face skiing mecca for the first time. From March 23 to 25, 2012, participants will once again have the opportunity to take part in interesting (affordable) workshops or simply test out the abundant equipment from Black Diamond, Arc'teryx, Fritschi and Pieps.
The courses will be run by local mountain guides, team riders or professional photographers. PG and BLP event photographer Baschi Bender will be traveling especially for his workshop and will pass on the most important know-how for freeride photography. The event will be even more interesting thanks to the slide show by La Grave local and BD athlete Ptor Spricenieks and the legendary Dude Party with live music and the big BigLePow ski raffle.

After Engelberg (Switzerland) and Chamonix (France), the Dude is once again pitching his tent in Scandinavia: In mid-April, from the 13th to the 15th, in Sogndal (NOR) and thus for the first time in the far north! A great program of workshops and parties can also be expected at this event.
