The Black Diamond Traverse Pro is a classic two-part telescopic pole that is available in two lengths. Once in the 145 version with a length of 95-145cm or in the 155 version with 105-155 cm. Thanks to the FlickLock Pro system, the poles can be easily adjusted even when wearing thick gloves. If the lock is ever too loose, it can be readjusted with an Allen key.
The loop is also equipped with the Black Diamond SwitchRelease strap. A jerky pull upwards opens the loop, which ensures that you don't get caught anywhere in the dense forest, for example. Incidentally, the strap cannot be lost as it is attached to the pole on one side.Â
From my own experience, I can also say how important it is to be able to replace the tips of the ski poles. This is also possible here without having to buy half the pole again. The large hand rest also makes it easy to support yourself on the pole and the pin binding can also be locked easily without having to bend down. The Traverse Pro therefore fulfils all the features that make good ski poles for me.
