As I approach the goggle in the sunlight, the first thing I notice is the large, mirrored lens. It shimmers red, orange, yellow, green and blue. A silver/black "S" is emblazoned in the middle of the upper edge of the lens, and Salomon has also discreetly immortalized itself on the lower left edge of the lens and on the strap. The frame is midnight blue. The goggle strap is of course adjustable in size and has rubber inserts on the inside to prevent it from slipping on the helmet. The strap is also slightly wider.
The ventilation at the edges is fully circumferential and effectively prevents the lens from fogging up. The nose and face padding is pleasantly thick, so the goggles are comfortable to wear and don't pinch anywhere.
The first thing I notice when I look through the goggles is the large field of vision and the high-contrast colors of my surroundings. The field of vision is not restricted on any side by the edge of the glasses. Contours are easy to make out to a certain extent, but with very diffuse vision, nothing beats a bad weather lens.
I think the glasses are great. The deductions in the B grade are due to the fact that you can't switch to a bad weather lens. The mirror coating is also quite sensitive to scratches.
These minor weaknesses are not significant in view of the advantages described above.
