Tester and test conditions

I am 1.63 m tall and weigh 52 kg. My activities are mainly freeriding, ski touring, but also piste skiing. I tested the Mammut Haldigrat HS Hooded Jacket Women in size S in the colour navy-white. The jacket has been in use in various conditions from the Christmas holidays until now.

Test report

I had the jacket with me for a wide range of activities. Whether on tour, powder skiing or on the piste, the jacket is the perfect garment for me. It is both breathable and windproof, as well as being very light. The fit gave me optimum freedom of movement on all activities. Even in hours of wet snowfall and later rain, the material let the water roll off perfectly and kept me dry.

By the way, the jacket is PFC-free. According to Mammut, it is endeavouring to phase out all PFC-containing product treatments and replace them with high-performance alternatives.

Conclusion

The Mammut Haldigrat HS Hooded Jacket Women has become my new favourite piece due to its features and attractive style. It is lightweight and very soft for a hardshell jacket. I can imagine using the jacket for other activities too.
