iSKI X | App

In addition to the normal iSKI app, Intermaps has launched the iSKI X app specifically for freeriders this season. Not only can you find out about the current weather and snow conditions in the ski resorts, but you can also use the safety features. The app is divided into several categories: "iSKI X", Free Ride, Safety, Tips and Community. Under Safety you will find, among other things, the current avalanche warning level, avalanche camps and a slope inclinometer. "Behavior off the slopes" also deals with the 3x3 filter method. Another new feature is the SOS button, which establishes a connection to the emergency call center and transmits your GPS coordinates. "Free Ride" contains the current weather report, webcams or tour descriptions for the respective ski resorts. As with the normal iSKI app, the ski tracker records the duration, altitude, maximum speed and distance of the tour. If your friends also use the app and you have an iSKI account, you can share your tours and see where your buddies are currently traveling. Update: New to the app this season is iSki X News, where you can find interesting stories, events and other news.
The app is available for Android, as well as for iOS in the stores for download.
