Season starts in the ski resorts

Who opens when?

PowderGuide
As the author writes these lines, late summer temperatures have long since returned, but the mountains have recently seen the first signs of fall with the first snowflakes of the season. This naturally raises the question: when do the ski resorts open? We have done a bit of research and compiled a list of resorts that open before the end of November - without guarantee and with the note that ski resort websites are notoriously unreliable when it comes to such things...

Waking up in the morning and seeing the first white mountain peaks out of the window is always a special feeling. You want to put on your skis and head straight for the ski resort - but which ski resort is already open in my region? We will probably all be asking ourselves this question up to and including December. To make sure we don't lose track between the first snow and the first real day of skiing, we've put together a list of some of the ski resorts' season openings for you.

WATCH OUT! As always, the following applies to skiing in autumn: glaciers have holes and where there are no glaciers, there are rocks. We strongly advise against slaloming in crevasses with 30 cm of fresh snow on bare ice and similar activities and recommend preparing for the season on the piste.
