12/30/2020 • Lea Hartl
After the südstau is before the südstau, or: To those who have, shall be given. The focus of the precipitation will once again be in the south-east and we are once again waiting for a report from the oracle with further details. -

12/23/2020 • Lea Hartl
Good news for the Northern Alps! The Christmas thaw is still raging at the moment, but from Thursday evening it will get colder from the north with snow down to low altitudes. Presumably, a Christmas alarm will go out in the northern congested areas. We are eagerly awaiting a message from the oracle! -

WeatherBlog 5 2020/21 | Mild, windy, future uncertain
12/16/2020 • Lea Hartl
The more southerly parts of the Alps up to the main ridge and a little beyond now have a decent base after the extreme southerly dust, while the northern Alps still have to wait. The different conditions can also be seen in the CRs at the moment: In the south and southwest, powder is great, while in northern Salzburger Land a reporter has to make do with ski tours on frozen fields, slightly sugared. -

WeatherBlog 21 2019/20 | Strange, sunny end to the season
04/08/2020 • Lea Hartl

WeatherBlog 20 2019/20 | March: warm and mostly dry
04/01/2020 • Lea Hartl
Many people are currently showing a new or perhaps just rediscovered interest in gardening, sourdough and looking out of the window. 03/25/2020 • Lea Hartl

WeatherBlog 18 2019/20 | It's human nature
03/18/2020 • Lea Hartl
What to do with the WeatherBlog? Skiing has been canceled, there are more important things to do. In stark contrast to the state weather services, which are part of the critical infrastructure and therefore have to continue to function anyway, we are here purely for entertainment. On the other hand, I personally find the weather report after the TV or radio news to be soothing, reassuringly normal, as is looking at weather maps. So, let's talk a bit about the weather.
