It's snowing again in the west and a little in the north too, but that's not quite part of this alert. Or half of it. And it's getting warm too, but not everywhere. As you can see, it's not easy to get Ullr's gifts out to the people this time, because Alert 16 is a little moodier than the great Alerts 14 and 15.

On the way back to a normal season? After the rather tough course of this winter, some regions, at least in the west, are now on the way to an average season. There is a base and it continues to snow. Ullr is also making a rendezvous in the south-east and there's still plenty of snow above 1800m.

After November and the current April, Ullr is finally no longer switching back and forth between fall and spring, giving us a real west/northwest blast. Even after that, it looks quite wintry, at least for this winter. The oracle sits in the parking lot and waits for the snow. Up to just under 2000m, almost everything is bare on the south side and on the north side there is just enough in the forest to reach the parking lot. This is not winter.

Everything back to the start. After a good start, hardly any snow has fallen since Christmas and it feels like we're back in November, but finally Ullr has seen sense and sends us a winter greeting again. Unfortunately, he has to get back into the groove and it won't last, but more on that in the alert.

Ullr seems to have taken pity on the sad locals and holidaymakers on the northern side of the Alps and let it snow there too. Unfortunately, this is just a drop in the ocean for the areas that have been hit the hardest. From central Switzerland eastwards, the sharks will be able to swim again and grab some tasty p-tex, but the alarm won't be enough for real freeriding.

Ullr is sending us a lot of snow in the Western Alps, but also heavy storms and rising snowfall limits, so there is not only powder, but also a high avalanche risk.

The days of southern congestion are over and now that the west also has a base, the upcoming snowfall in the west can be put to good use. This dump is in all likelihood just the prelude to several dumps this week with the finale at the weekend.

Ullr heralds the second round of the late winter retreat battles and this time sends us useful amounts of precipitation. Unfortunately, it no longer has the power to keep it cold throughout and only higher up does the powder survive the warming.

Ullr has ordered a strange weather situation: Once for all powder and in the southeast also with sharp in terms of volumes. Unfortunately, there isn't cold powder for everyone, as Ullr is busy spreading the low over the whole of the Alps. And since air mass opposites, roughly simplified, are responsible for our lows, there has to be warm air on one side.

Ullr has taken a break after his northern congestion excesses. Now it's getting back to work and bringing snow to the Alps. This alert is the prelude to an interesting week in the western Alps and then later possibly also in the southern Alps, although it is not yet clear how many alerts will result.

Ullr wants to say goodbye to the Freeride World Tour with top conditions and is sending snow to the north and west of the Alps. It has been snowing from time to time recently - now we're finally getting alarming amounts again!

After minor snowfalls here and there, Ullr is now bringing alarm-worthy amounts to the south again. It has already started to snow and there will be a lot by Monday. The problem with southern alerts in spring is of course the high snow line in the south, in addition to the foehn in the north.
