Florian Ramsauer reports for PowderGuide on his participation in the Salewa Climb to Ski Camp, an unquestionably unconventional ski touring, freeriding and ski mountaineering camp. Together with professional athletes from the organizer and alpine outfitter Salewa and local mountain guides, the group spent four days roaming the outstanding terrain around the Dolomite village of San Martino di Castrozza in fresh snow and perfect weather.

Last weekend, the "King of Dolomites" photo contest was held for the third time in San Martino di Castrozza. Once again, 14 professional and over 100 amateur teams had the opportunity to put their riding and photography skills to the test and capture the best moments around the impressive Pala Group.

The "King of Dolomites" Powder Photo Contest was held for the second time in San Martino di Castrozza. This is a photo competition in which teams of two skiers or snowboarders and a photographer have the opportunity to take the best pictures in the impressive mountain world of the Dolomites over two days to win not only fame and glory, but also valuable prizes!

From February 22 to 24, 2013, the famous vacation village of San Martino di Castrozza at the foot of the Palat Group in the Trentino Dolomites will be transformed into a freeride Eldorado at its finest. Deep snow enthusiasts on two boards, on a board or even heel-free are welcome to join a photographer in tow when it comes to the question: "Who will take the perfect powder shot and become King of the Dolomites - or: The King of Dolomites?"
