Reinhold Messner

I recently received this book as a gift. In terms of format (size, weight) and structure, it's not a book I would devour, but I enjoy it regularly for a few pages, then put it aside and look forward to the next Bergmenschen.

The omniscient algorithm also keeps offering me Jan Böhmermann. In his latest piece of satirical investigative journalism, he exposes the ignorance and corruption of the Tyrolean cable car industry, elegantly drawing analogies of failure in the event of a disaster, from the gondola fire in Kaprun to the Corona Cluster (I & II) in Ischgl.

Börm Bruckmeier Verlag, which specializes in medical literature in a "compact format", presents a detailed guidebook to take with you into the mountains, subtitled: From day trip to Himalayan expedition.
