End of the season
05/02/2022 • PowderGuide
PowderGuide is saying goodbye for the summer. This means that, with a few exceptions, we are suspending our editorial work and the weather service is also taking a break until it gets wintry again. Of course, we would be delighted if all those who are still out and about continue to report on their tours in the ConditionsReports! -

PG goes on summer break
05/15/2021 • PowderGuide
The editorial contributions have already slowly gone into summer hibernation over the last few weeks, and now the PG weather service is following suit. WeatherBlog 23 2020/21 | End of season
04/21/2021 • Lea Hartl
Steffi from SnowFlurry recently asked the group at the final PG meeting how long everyone's ski season is. There were as many different answers as there were people in our "circle". After the winter has stepped on the gas again in late spring (last PowderAlert on May 3rd!), we are slowly but surely heading into summer. The PG team is taking a breather and is secretly already looking forward to the first snowflakes in the fall when things get going again. -

Story | PG end-of-season meeting
04/25/2016 • PowderGuideLast weekend, PG ConditionsReporters and editorial team members got together for the traditional end-of-season get-together. PowderGuide wouldn't be what it is without the dedicated input of the extended community and especially the ConditionsReporters, so it's always nice to get together once a year in as large a group as possible and talk about all sorts of things. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who couldn't make it to the meeting! Thank you very much for your commitment this season! -

On board will be the PG editorial team, most of the Conditions reporters and many other PG friends, supporters and the world's leading avalanche rescue expert Manuel Genswein. -
