Sean Pettit

Whether "Claim" is the best ski film of all time remains to be seen. In any case, the MSP crew have a good sense of humor and (self-)irony. As before, potential further developments of skiing in impossible terrain are not to be missed. This time, instead of a base jump, a small paraglider, skis and the extreme terrain around Chamonix! A wild mixture. But this is certainly not the highlight of the movie. The highlight is once again the camera work that captures the outstanding performance of the riders on the memory card. Worth mentioning is the performance of the young Sean Petit, who makes his debut in a beautiful sequence. Personally, I was impressed by Kaj Zackrisson's part. He got across what he needed to get across: The feeling! Yeeeha!

A tree is set on fire to perhaps bring more light into the darkness, or the MSP crew wants to protect the North American forests from bark beetles? Since both seem rather absurd to me, there is only one thing left to say: pointless action! That concludes the worst contribution in this year's MSP strip.
