You learn a lot in the first 15 minutes: because Norwegians arrived with skis, the Black Forest is the cradle of skiing in Germany, the world's first major ski film was the masterpiece of a Baden-Württemberg native and they also invented the ski lift there!

Yessa, the Freeride World Tour starts on Friday! Not in the Black Forest, but in Andorra, Valnord-Arcalis. Given the snow conditions, Baden-Columbia would certainly have been a real alternative.
