Our latest community videos and the call to send us more of them have gone down like a bomb. We continue to be amazed at how much potential and creativity is hidden in the PowderGuide community and have no hesitation in sharing these amazing creations with you. And somehow they are all worth seeing. But see and judge for yourself:
T Mon | Glory Powder Days
Simply fun in the Pow-Pow. All day long. Isn't that the quit essence of what we all strive for?
Roman Kreindl | A Day Off
One man, one helmet cam, one day, one POV edit. These are exactly the data-turned-scenes that every one of us sees in our mind's eye before falling asleep at night after a good powder day.
Markus Kurtenbach | Canadian Skiing 11/12
Beautifully edited video of what looks like a really great time in the Canadian fir forests. The big grin is infectious!
Christoph Hoerner | Ein Traum Leben Winter
Apart from the grammatically unclear title, this is an extremely worthwhile, semi-professional film. Very well edited and set to music, great images, impressive scenes and bold lines are strung together here. Chapeau.
Simon Platzer Films | Time for the Whiteroom
A truly professional film production, with some well-known names from the community or the FWT appearing directly in the opening credits. Powder images worth seeing are rounded off by a frame story told in the best "I'll be back" Schwarzenegger English. And a fail section in the middle of the movie shows impressively what goes wrong when you are too cool to take your brain to the mountain. Great movie!
And that's not all! As we have received so many community videos over the last few weeks, we have decided to present your films in two editions of "Videos of the Week". So look forward to next week and another load of community movies. Finally, we'd like to reiterate our appeal: keep posting your films in the forum, pin them to our Facebook wall, or send us links by e-mail to the editorial team, and we'll make a Community Video of the Week whenever we've collected enough worth seeing.
